buy a new intake and sell that one. It's killing your power unless you're getting a blower sometime VERY soon. the fact that it's an open runner design may have something to do w/ the sound you are getting.

i had one of them on a pretty much stock mustang and i had no problems with the cars idleor performance .intake worked perfect you probally have a vacum leak some where

I just had an idle serging problem. Vaccum leak. Was I corrected that the car ran fine.

I have checked for vacume leaks and only found map sensor was not hooked up to vacume. Repaired that problem only other thing can imagine would be EGR sticking or something else. I am a mechanic by trade but this is kicking my butt. Can someone tell me what i need to do to delete egr from car.

i dont think the map sensor is supposed to be hooked up to vacum if its the one on the firewall try taking a propane tourch turn it on do not light it "just so the gas comes out " go around the intake to see if you have a leak somewhere the car should rev up a little if you have a leak thats the backyard way but it works
