it wouldnt say a thing..........its called racing and someone wins and someone loses....it doesnt bother me at all....i take it for what its worth a small time down the track with something that i love (my car) and love to do....i aint even concerned with whats going on in the other lane.....

 

SO WHAT MAKES IT WRONG???

 

nothing i dont reckon....its kinda like riding the fence i supposed....the guy that i bought my engine from was doing an ls1 swap......i am die hard ford and dont want nothing chevy on or in my car...(but once again to each his own) i guess i am not just in it for speed......

 

i work on cars for a crappy living, chevys are the easiest to fix. fords arent bad but not as interchangable and nothing ever interchanges like on chevys, thats why everything cost more .i like mustangs for looks and size.its ok all the chevy guys are the same way for the most part. whats funny is the import guys arent this way though. if its fast and it looks good i dont care if its a honda or a chev or a ford, and half the american cars are damn imports anyways!the mustang was supposed to be replaced with a mazda azz ford buttprobe mx6/mx3 car. how shame full is that?

while you find that humorous i have seen several jags with sbc's in them, and far more 240z,280z, and 300z's with the sbc in them. i can't honestly say i've seen many of the imported cars with sbf or bbf. just the mazda miata with a 5.0 in it.i've also seen a rolls with a bbc in it here in charleston sc. engine swapping has been going on for decades. hot rodders usually put the cheaper more efficient powerplant into the vehicle because they don't have much money to buy expensive parts.

 

sadly its been done... some Puerto Rican put a 20b (3 rotor engine) into a 99 v6.

 

KOman I was being sarcastic when I brought up the Jags & 240Z's with the SBC conversions, they are very common, I know.
AdderMk2, I would imagine the stang/ricer hybrid has been done as well....if done properly would make for an interesting conversation piece ..a lighter stang with good gas milage..LOL..[8D] not for me though..

 

didn't mean to foul you scalihoo, my bad. i've never seen dodge engines in anything but a mopar. are there 440 or 426 stangs out there?
