New lifters, pushrod of the right length and rockers can't hurt.
It's called doing things right instead of 1/2 ---ed......

when i got my cam it recommended a specific rocker size (1.7), after i got the rockers I actually had to measure the pushrods for the proper length, then purchase and complete the build.

depending on the cam the stock pushrods will work
lifters wont need to be changed unless they colapased
rockers will be used

You Need To Check Your Springs Also, since certain cams require certain amount of pressure due to some crazy lift sizes. At least that is what I was told in shop class 6 years ago.

You don't necessarily need different sizes, but buy a new set of lifters, pushrods, etc, while you're in there so you don't have to pull it apart agian in a month.

...and definitely upgrade your valve springs...not worth the risk.

The heads are brandnew and have valve/springs already. So the cam, pushrods, and lifters all have to match the specs of the head ?

Not to steal the post but how do you know when your lifters are bad?
