Default Starting from Scratch....

I have a 88 GT that is basically bone stock. The exhaust from the cats back is the only small mod to the car. My question is were should I start for more power? I'm on a limited budget so I can't start dumping thousands right away.Mass air, headers, rear????? Please help.</P>

Thank's</P>

you need a good amount of money to get started around $1500.00 but can do smaller stuff. i would go CAM under 200,HEADERS under 300,and ROUSE steelHEADS under 600, larger MAF under 300 and TB under 300. you can do all that for under 1500 and your car will scream but add another 1000 and get better heads and upper and lower intake. rouse heads are very good flowing just not ALUM. so people dont like but on a budget there excelent. and a set or 410s would be good<edited><editID>619socalstang</editID><editDate>38023.6442939815</editDate></edited>

o/r x-pipe and headers are a good start. if you can get $2100 you can buy a trick flow package which gets 360 hp!! and that is n/a and it is always there!!

I have about 1500. The thing is don't work on my car for I have a fear of screwing it up. So as we all know...1500 won't do me much.
