Default Boost gauge install...

I feel like a moron asking this question, but where do I hook up the boost line?

The little plastic hose. Is there a fitting on the S/C that is goes on? Or somwhere else?

Only reason I ask is because I need to make some fitment issues. And when the S/C comes in I dont want to waste my time roughting lines and what not.

Tap it into the vacuum tree on the fire wall. That's where mine is.

I need to install one for my turbo too. On that vaccum line does it matter which one you go into or they will all read the same?

Really its just off the Vacum tree? I thought it would be somwhere else, I cant see how that little tree can handle 6-8 PSI.

I was thinking maybe run one straight off the intake.

running a boost guage is not very difficult... like everyone else has posted you CAN run it from the vac tree... to get the most accurate feed it is best to take your source from as close to the TB as possible. another thing you can do to make your guage as accurate as possible is to use a section of metal brake line instead of rubber hose, the brake line will not expand and contract like a rubber hose will. it also will not deform under small amounts of external pressure(like running it through the firewall.

i use a section of brake line for the BOV in my turbo Probe, and i did notice a much crisper responce with the metal line
