Default Why am i grinding in reverse?????

hey just wondering do i need more tranny fluid or what kuz yesterday i jsut started grinding puttin it in reverse!!!!the other 5 gears dont grind just reverse. And another thing wat kind of tranny fluid do i need for a t-5 tranny? ****in old cars starting to hate them!!

add more fluid that might do it. but im not too shure what else could be wrong

the people at the auto parts store just told me to use regular auto trans fluid

i've never seen a fox that didn't grind at least a little bit when putting it in reverse. it's quite normal. if it's hard to stick in try putting it in another gear before putting it in reverse.

I was messin around like that wen i got home before i turned it off to see if it would grind. So i went thru all the gears and then reverse and it didnt and i was suprised. so i dunno but its pissin me off kuz it never did it before yesterday. and if i only new how to check the fluid level grrrrr no dipstick lol

and what the hell does +1 mean haha i see it alot

I have auto synthetic fluid in my t-5 and it works great. I go into 5ht and then reverse and never have any problems
