Not trying a thread hijack but there is something about slicks that you need to know.
If you want to run them tubeless, get to a tire shop that works with construction/farm tires. They have some pink stuff, can't remember name of it, that you can put in the tires along with the air and then run them on a spin balance machine for a couple minutes.
Tires WILL NOT EVER leak.

I've also heard of using liquid dish soap in the tires with a similar result, never done it so dunno if it works.....

mine were 26's with a 41/2,and i had to beat the inner fender, cause of rubbing issues.
Crap really, I just bought some 15x8's with 4 1/2 in b/s and they have 26 in slicks on them. I guess I'll be getting the torch and a hammer out once I get running again.

There's also the closet rod/baseball bat method of fender rolling...

And I did a roadside fender roll on a Ranger that had about a ton of cut firewood in the bed, which was why he was on the side of the road. Fender rubbed on his tire, slicing it right open. So I grabbed a small log/branch and had him do the driving. Still too close so he threw some firewood in my truck and he was good to go.
