an Integra??
Alright...so I've ~kinda~ been messin around w/ people here and there on the streets since I've gotten the 5.0 
I've only actually raced two pick-ups (chevys) that seemed pretty beefed up...but obviously not even for the 5.0 
But anyways.. I was drivin home tonight and some kid that goes to my high school started messin w/ me...I thought it was pretty funny cuz he was in a 4 cylinder Acura Integra... not sure what year..but not new or anything. Well we actually just stopped in the middle of the road...and he counted down. He actually kinda pulled on me from the get go...then I passed him..and whipped him..(of course) but he came a lot closer than I thought he should have. He SAID it was 'stock' but I dunno..can a stock 4 cylinder come close to a 5.0?? anyways...I dunno..just thought I'd throw it out there
On my way home a turbo'd Talon pulled up next to me...I heard the BOV but raced him anyways....didn't come close at all...I thought he'd get me cuz of the turbo...guess not

Sorry...didn't mean to post a 'story' type thing here...but I guess this is the Only forum I visit here...lol (I learn everything here..so I don't visit any other part of the site) But I was actually kinda asking a question. Do you really think it was stock? I have an AOD and he had a 5-speed...also he kinda...started before I realized he was actually gonna race me...but still I don't think it was stock if it could have come...semi-close like it did.... Thats why I was askin if ya'll thought it was possible...
And it turned out not to be a race...just...at first it kinda surprised me that he had that much power to keep up w/ me for the first 30-45mph or so...

2nd to 3rd is when u should have really put him in the dust, im guessing bad shifts?
i dont got 4.10's but i want them. i got 3.27's (or 3.23s i forget) and i got crazy acceleration with the AOD
anyway the GSRs have the 1.6L VTEC which is a pretty tough motor. my friend has one in his civic but even my LS could smoke that thing

I think I'm gonna have to start practicing my launches or somethin...I suck at taking off I guess...lol...how do ya'll do it? Any particular way with an AOD?
And I don't have the Shift kit put in...would it help a lot? and should I do it? I just can't find a place that will do it for about 150...the guy I know will do it for like...375-400 (but he knows what he's doin...has a Racing Transmission shop) He just tells me that I could really jack things up if I'm not careful and check everything in the tranny before I just 'throw it on there'
