Default RE: Tune up or save up?

I've got a code reader and I pass all of the codes. Is anyone running a C&L MAF with just a conical airfilter attached to it? like the set up that I have? My motor isn't running wierd, but sometimes when it's freezing outside or there's moisture, before the car is all the way warmed up and only when I'm driving it, it'll give a random CEL and it'll go on a few times and then go away once it is all warmed up. I don't think that the sensor is bad, but idk, I bet that if I put the stock intake back on (filter box and all) and it would stop. But like I said, it's not affecting my performance to run it like that, it helped it out a little bit actually. Umm, yeah I know that I can get it all tuned up and running good for under 100 bucks. FRPP Red plug wires ($50 shipping included), spark plugs (probably ngk Splitfires, I've used them before, they are great, $20-$25), Mobil 1 and Wix oil filter (we have a business account with Wix and I've heard some very good things about Mobil 1 so I'll only be paying between $15-$20 for that). So first thing's first, should I order the plug wires, or hold off, because I don't think that I'm really going to benefit from them.

I would def get the car in good running condition before you start on any major mods. A good tune up shouldnt put you that much in the hole anyway.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if I've got everything in order. But really, these plug wires work but if you guys were on a tight budget doing a tune up would you invest in plug wires if your stock ones weren't burnt but had oil and some weird colors on em? Sorry I keep bugging you about them, but that's two tanks of gas I just spent if I do end up buying them.
