kenne bell supercharger
Ok it's time to start doin some **** to the car and I'm tryin to decide what to do. I would like to eventually get a kenne bell supercharger, but for now was gonna get an intake manifold and stuff. Question is does the kenne bell only work with the stock intake or gt40, because I was thinking about getting a trick flow street heat. If not how is the gt40 cause it may be a little while before I get the kenne bell, so if I have to go with the gt40 now is it a decent intake?

RE: kenne bell supercharger
The standard KB can either work with a stock GT intake or a GT40 lower intake. Id say the GT40 should be fine until you get the KB, i know people running 11's n/a with the Cobra intake.

The KB is a twin screw positive displacement blower that bolts to the lower intake and sets right on top of the engine. It has two different plenum designs, one to match the stock lower intake ports or the other to match the Cobra or GT 40 lower. It is a realy nice choice for a blower and is an easy install too. I placed one on a client's GT ragtop and this blower comes on instantly and just fries the tires when you get on it even at 30 mph. If you wish to save money, go with the Cobra intake as the lower is the same as the GT 40 and you end up not using the upper with the KB blower. I believe you will be very pleased with a KB blower.

b/c its not like the 4.6s were the bottom is all open, for the 5Ls the KB hast he same pattern as the upper intakes, so if u get a different design the intake tubes arent going to line up.
