an aftermarket shifter is still LEAPS ahead of the stock turbo coupe shifter. Im looking to put a Pro 5.0 shifter in mine in a few months, once i finish up some other projects.

The shifter boot should look like a charcoal colored leather one in an 87-88 Turbo Coupe. If it doesnt look like that, i would looked hacked up and not look right in the car.

The Tbirds are kinda one of those cars that everyone knows, but no one wants. Theyre an aqquired taste i guess you could say. They can be really fun cars, my Turbo Coupe has to be the most fun car ive driven, and ive driven anything from modded F350 Turbo Diesel trucks, to 11 second LS1 cars.
