I think my mother$#@%ing fuel pump is going out. All of a sudden its really loud. When you turn the key forward the fuel pump primes up, mines really loud and dosent stop like usual. goddam car is pissing me off. [sm=headbang.gif]

 

well instead of swearing at it... why dont you fix it. a fuel pump job will take about an hour of your time if you dont f*** around.

only 2 bolts hold the tank in by metal straps, and once those are off you can slide the tank off of the fill inlet. the pump itself has a ring that holds it into the tank. it can be removed by a hammer and a screw driver, hammer the tabs until the ring spins out, pull the pump out and replace it. assembly is the reverse order.
