Default EBAY SUBFRAMES

There have been 2 or 3 people that say they are going to come back and tell us what they think of them when they get them installed..... that was the end of that. So? How do you guys that got the Subframes from blue oval or off ebay in general like em?

subframes are nothing more then a piece of metal tubing. doesnt matter whos name is on them. its nothing more then a piece of 1x2 that has paint or powder coating on it. if you bought the materials from a metal supply place, you could make subframes for 2 cars for about $20. if the subframes have seat supports then they are a little more complicated but a standard sub frame is just a piece of tube cut to legnth

I got the ones from eBay with the seat supports and they weren't really bent perfect to the rails. I just added some shim stock(metal plate lying around) and filled in the gaps, weded them in and painted the connectors. I strongly suggest getting the area to be welded cleaned down to the bare metal. It will weld much better.

Yeah my step dads a welder so he should know what to do. Well I am just going to get the ones off of ebay. I'll look around real quick though.
