GEARS! I have 3:08 stock and I need 55s or 73s, daily driven, 50 50 for hwy and city, eventually Im going to ahve a S-trim or heads and a cam, maybe all 3? Is 73s going to be to much? and one more question what would my BEST et be with my stock cobra with 3:55s and then with 3:73s?? with drag radials of corse, thanks guys

 

They definatley wont be too much, i would even go higher. after i got my gears i wished i had gone higher. I still get around 20mpg on the highway with 3.90's. if its between 3.73's and 3.55's go with the 3.73's

Your cobra should have 3.27s stock

 

ive had 2.73's, 3.27's, and 3.55's I loved my 3.27's the most i dont like pushing 2500 rpms at 75 mph

 

werd, i hate high RPMs. 94/95 Cobras have 3.08 stock... If ur gonna go supercharged I vote for 3.55s

 

3.73's all the way. Unless it's an auto, then 4.10's!

wouldnt you think that 373s would be the best though? and what would I be looking at for an ET as far as the 3:55s compared to the 3:73s, I would guess that 73s would give me a lower time

 

i have 3.73's in my gt and love them but since ur going to be running the blower i would say 373's cause it would put into boost faster
