Default What should I do next?

ok.. 5.0 .. yes.. many capabilites.. I really am setting my heart to 12's or motor.. but im gonna to shoot for mid 13's first.

Ok, All I have done right now is 5.0 Pro short shifter and MAC cold air intake..

What should I go for next? I want to do something thats not really that expensive but will give me a good amount of power thats noticeable..

throw me some help here guys

Gears? Maybe a 75shot? Throttle body? Upper/lowers? cam? whats your budget?

Gears will not actually add hp, but will by far be the best bang for the buck.

You can also get a larger MAF. The stocker is 55mm, so you'd gain decent power by going w/ 75-76mm.

Anybody can install gears, Its a question of doing it right. You well need an in/lb dial torque wrench, Dial indicator and fixture, and a ftlbs torque wrench, A good caliper/micrometer, Bearing puller(s) and a few small pieces of pipe to drive bearings. An install kit should come with the marking paint.

youll need to worry about bearing preload, setting backlash and pinion depth.

Its a fairly involved job, Ive only done it once "on my own" even then I was being supervised. If you dont know what your doing you can really **** it up.

I wouldnt attempt to do it by myself; but hey, if you dont try you will never learn so thats a decision you are going to have to make on your own ........
