I guess I would do a compression test and check fuel pressure and see how the look and go from there. How many miles?

Ive been thinking. A bad egr valve will do that. It advances your timing. Mine does it everyonce in a while and I just figured out my EGR was bad, wasn't opening some times. Maybe something else to look into.

Whats funny about that I was just reading some where else about the egr valve causing that problem.
