Default sick of problems.

well about a week ago my car started um, sputtering? it does it in the bottom of all gears, but not because of too low rpm's. to stop it you have to give it more gas and it cleans right up. getting on the highway with about 3/4 throttle it is sluggish, push it to the floow and it breaks em loose and gets up to speed quick. it also does it over bumps. and lastly when i depress the clutch to stop sometimes it jumps around and dies, takes about 4 seconds to start back up but does start. i have replaced the fuel filter and nothing changed. i have 3 suggestions from friends. start with regulator, then coil then fuel pump. anyone know anything about this? sorry this is so long. thanks for any help!
