Default bbk headers

i am looking at getting bbk full length headers, the chrome because i dont want to pay 380 for the ceramic but ive heard that chrome headers heat up easy and will sometimes turn blue is this true? also is there anything else bad about chrome headers, thanks

The chrome will eventually peel and rust, I like the MAC headers that I have on the vert, they're not chrome they've got a really rough coating of something on them and they have not shown 1 sign of rust for like 6 months now.

I would spend the $ for ceramic if you're keeping your car. It sucks that it's more, but it will be worth it. They won't corrode or discolor [if your engine is running right]

Wow, I dont know what happened to my MAC LT's. I drove them about 600 miles and the coating was already almost gone. They are completly rusted out right now after about 2 years under a car cover and only driving 600 miles.

Plus, they're a PITA to install

BBK is good stuff, at least for a 5 speed.

I've also heard lots and lots of good things about BBK. If I ever had to do it again I would go with them.

Well i got the ceramic coated shorty headers by BBK . They've been on for 5years and 18,000 miles, and they still look brand new, no discoloration or leaks or anything!!
