Ive got 2k to spend
Just got my tax return from working all year and I have a cold hard 2k to spend. My car is a 94 GT 5.0 Manual, Full saleen clone, Under drive pulleys, Cold air Intake, BBK headers, and now I want a new clutch and a new shifter. Im looking for a pro 5.0 shifter but as for a clutch? Suggestions will help alot. So imagine you have my car and you have exactly 2k and you want the most performance bang for the buck...what would you do? Ive narrowed it down to a new clutch, shifter, and 4.10's....Anyone have some ideas? Thanks

I don't know anything bout clutches (i'm an auto guy), but go get a nice clutch, get the short shifter, gears, finish up your exhaust, and do your intake. That might be a little bit more than 2,000 bucks, but it's close!

Well I know this is gonna sound wierd but hear me out and think about it.
You could donate that 2k to the "Brandon needs more money to get his new short block" fund. (Still working on a catchier name)
Granted it won't make your car faster BUT, it will make you feel better about yourself. And it will make me feel better too. So essentially your helping two people out instead of being stingy and keeping it all to yourself. ha ha ha.
No, seriously you should get:
4.10's if your looking for more power.
Clutch: if you think your putting too much power for stock clutch
Shifter: if your having trouble shifting.
The Pro 5.0 is a good shifter. I have that in mine and it works great. The 4.10's will give you awesome amounts of acceleration and give tons of more torque. (That is why they call gears "Torque multipliers"). A clutch is never a bad thing but remember that the clutch is gonna make a slightly less comfortable drive. If you decide to go with a clutch, I would go with a Spec Stage 3 (heard they were very streetable) or a Centerforce Dual Friction if you plan on putting in some serious hp soon. Good luck bro.

RE: Ive got 2k to spend
Thanks for the responses. A guy just offered me GT40 upper and lower intake manifold...250 shipped for BOTH...Should I jump on that? Also, my clutch is almost gone its just so crappy. Im up to 90k miles and my car is 1994 (which isnt bad at all), but my clutch just has absolutely nothing left, so I need a new one. Someone give me a link to the Centerforce dual friction clutch? I want one.
