I always run my exhaust all the way out as I don't want funes in my car...do in town driving and you'll get sleepy[8D]

I have a stock 95 with a powerdyne.

I used to wonder why some 5.0's sounded good compared to mine.

Got Flowmasters, still wondered.

Got an off-road pipe, dude, that was it!

i gotta 88 gt vert with headers and 3 inch exh, and it sits right under my back seats... sometimes i smell some fumes, but rarley, only when its cold mainly... and i loveeee the sound, it roars when im getting to about 5k... but when im slowing down i get a poping noise.... some people dont like it, but i am one that loves it... i'd go with straight pipe... i live in cali tho and dont know if its going to pass the emissions test.. i never tried it yet[:@]

If you want a different sounding exhaust use the dynomax super turbo cat back with a dr gas x pipe and long tubes thats what i run and eveyone loves it because it sounds throaty when your'e driving but when you open it up you get that nascar sound it's definently different and dr gas does not sound as good with the tinny style mufflers.
