Well, I went out front today to go raise some the hell on the streets and I was on the road for about 15 minutes and a cop pulls me over I was trying think of what I might have been doing. So he comes up and goes through the routine and says I pulled you over cause of your tailights, I said what abot them and I get out of the car and see that there all smashed up, how i didnt noticed when I first got in is beyond me. I know this isnt a relavent post but I figure who better to vent my enger to (other the s**** thats did it) than the guys who love there 5.0 as much as me. Also anyone know were the best place to get stock tailights from.

Do you need just the lens? or do you need the whole housing?

The best cheapest place to get stock tailights from is a junkyard. They are a dime a dozen and you can prob pick them up for 10-15 bucks.

Just the lens but I didnt know that you could buy the lens only wer would I find that.

That's what I was going to tell him. If you need just the lens's which is probably it, just hit up the Junkyard and then NAPA or some automotive store for the lights.

You can get them from 50resto or some place like that but if you have any local junkyards I would go there first and get them cheap. Plus you dont have to wait for shipping, etc.

Thanks, also I was at the junk yard wuh a buddy of mine a week ago and he ws looking for stack hood for his 5.0 and they said they can get it to im for 120.00 bucks good deal or not, the hood is in primo condition.

Well, all junkyards are different but this is what i was going to get from a junkyard for $250.

LX Tailights
LX Wing
LX Front Bumper
LX Passenger Fender
Stock Hood

Everything needed paint but it was all in good condition.
