seems to me the clevelands have been gone long enough where most younger people have no direct knowledge with these motors and as such they just dismiss them. sure you can make the same power out of a windsor with some aftermarket heads, but dont you find it just a little cooler than you can make that same power with FORD parts? i mean.... thats gotta be worth somethin

I havea 76 mustang II with a4bbl clevland, bored .030, cam, 750 carb, edelbrock intake, headers, and some random MSD parts and I run a 6.99 on the 1/8th mile. Not bad for a boat anchor cleveland. Parts are just hard to find.

The Cleveland never appeared in the F series platform it was only used in the passenger car line. the 351/400 M was used in mid to late 70s trucks

i know with 90's ford they used a 351 modified. Wich kinda resembled one of the 2 c's/w's. They were fuel injected. With 40k miles on sounds like you have oneof the 351 modified motors.

My old bosses 1992 e250 had one in it. I thought it to be a windsor. But part stores said it was called a modified. ( to my knolage i thought the only modified motor was the old school 400)

more misinformation LOL

the 351M/400 (335 series motors) were last used in 1982

*edit* they did use the 460 (no 429s ) into the 90's though

I thought they only put 351m's in trucks? They were similar to a cleveland if I remember right and shared many of the same parts.

they are close to a C. they stopped the C's in the early 70's and replaced them with the 351/400's. they used em in large passenger cars/station wagons/trucks/broncos/etc

my buddy has an LTD that looks like a huge yellow banana with a 351M that just wont die.
