just an update on my situation, i bought an 88 gt 5 speed with t-tops for $2500. it has 132,000 miles and is completely stock. has been sitting in a garage for the last 9 years. the car started right up and i was able to drive it around the block without any real problems. needs a tune up and will eventually need paint but its very very clean and has only pne spot of rust breaking out over the drivers rear quarter. i guess if you stick with it and search you can find good deals. 88 with t-tops is very rare

Nice purchase black05. T-tops are a little rarer but usually more troublesome. Atleast you can get parts everywhere nowadays for them.

Not being down on t-tops, but ain't they prone to leaking and kinda hard to get them to stop? They were cool back in the day but there is a reason they do not put them in any more.

no they dont leak unless the rubber around them is worn, and if they are their cheap and easy to replace

Very clean car, but what the hell is up with the back end. Did the other owner put a lift kit on it.

I just bought an '84 GT350 with only 80,000 miles for 3500, so i guess that backs up the thought that most r between 4-6K. Mine is in great condition though and i think it was a steal, considering that only about 6000 were made.
