Default average price on a fox

hey guys, ive been lurking in this part of the forum for a while now and was hoping you could help me get an idea on what the average fox is going for. To make this more specific, im looking for something 87'-93'. has to be a v8 standard car with a somewhat clean body and i dont care about the interior. hopeing to get something that wasnt absoluetly killed or modded horriblly. can i find a running fixer upper that is complete for $1500 in the mass/ new hampshire area?

For 1500 I wouldn't expect to much unless you want a 4 eye mustang, 79-86. I honestly prefer them to the 87-93 body style. You can probably find one with around 200000 miles and needs some body and intereor work for $1500 but sometimes you find deals. I don't know how far you are from new jersey but I always see good deals posted for cars in new jersey.

Anything less than $3k is going to need some kind of work. In my case it was bodywork (rust).
Expect to pay around $4-5k for a clean fox that runs good.

Fox bodies seem to hold value more than '94 and newer Mustangs for some reason.
Theres a clean '95 GT, totally stock in the local want ads for $3950 (with a pic) but a fox in the same condition is $5k or more, totally stock.

Well an 87 just became a classic, and the rest are short to follow. They are getting a little harder to come by and they werent made all that great in the beginning (all plastic and rubber parts)to last this long. So expect most of the rubber trim to be....ehh and alot of the interior to be...ehhh. There are some sweeties out there but you're gonna pay atleast 8k plus.
