Default track tonight ?'s

im headed out to the track tonight for the very first time. Im going to speedworld in az. i have a couple questions, but am willing to take any advice too

1. on street tires, i know i avoid the water pit, but do i need a long or short burn out?

2. What is a good tire pressure or does it change from tire to tire?

3.i have an aod...do i start in 1st and shift into drive, or do i just keep it in drive the whole time?

Thanks all...im lookin to have a good time

shift, dont put it in drive
This has been tested in many magazines, all have reported no change, or negative changed from manually shifting in a stock car with a stock AOD. Just leave it in drive.
