Ive got another question. Now im assuming with this engine it should be making around 350hp or just around there? The car definetly feels fast but in my opinion not much faster than my friends 350z, which is only around 280hp. The car also drinks gas. I know its a 347 but ive got 40 miles (20 of them highway) and used 7 gallons already. I drove it pretty hard for the first gallon or so then took it easy, shifting at around 1800rpms, but its still getting around 5-6 mpg. Maybe it wasnt tuned?

Wow, yeah something is wrong. You should still be seeing about 12-15mpg if you drive easy.

sounds like the car desperately needs a tune. if its eating the inside of the tires the alignment is off. and those are bbk c/c plates i had the same on mine. if i were you i would try and replace the o2 sensors and see if that doesn't help with the gas milage situtaion

also with my old 347 driving it ***** to the wall i was getting around 10mpg untuned. with those 30# injectors i would try tinkering with the fuel pressure it may be running too rich. (but thats also where the tune part comes back in to mind and you will see exactly how much hp its making)

Even untuned the thing is pretty damn fast. It breaks the tires free in 3rd gear going like 35mph. I also need to get the speedometer cable fixed. It binding somewhere or somthing. It moves around alot. Before 60mph it gives me a 15mph range that im driving in, after 60mph it just goes nuts. On the street its like i have two tachs.

I measured the distance from the tire to the wheel well today and the left side of the car now sits 1/2" lower. When i first bought the car the left sat at least 1 1/2" inches lower, im positive. Its hardly even noticable now, how does it just go back like that? I checked the driveshaft and it is indeed aluminum...arent they really expensive? I never really see people buying those.

Overall though, Im VERY happy with the car. Besides the small things that need to be fixed its basically everything i wanted in a car.
