Pretty much!
For me it was ....wire wheel, weld, grind, all-metal for a boddy filler, sandpaper to sand off the all-metal, prime, sandpaper for the primer, evercoat as the finishing putty, more sandpaperfor the finishing putty, and then a tack cloth to remove all the dust, then it was ready for paint.

thats gunna be alot of work for me, mainly cuz it will take 4 hours just to pressure wash all the dirt out of the bay lol. and dude WHY IS YOUR WHOLE ENGINE CHROME. musta cost u a fortue lol

My whole engine isn't chromed. 98% of what you see is polished aluminum and not chrome.

I'd like to apologize to stang8689 for being gracious enough to not tell me to get out of his thread. Itwas never my intention nor is it nowto hi jack his thread.
I was just trying to add my $.02 and it seems like his thread has drifted in another direction other than what I believe stang8689 intended it to.

here where i'm at, its a lot of work, its no joke be prepared to spend a lot of time, i also got rid of the washer tank and battery so I welded up them holes
