RE: Dyno run on friday and tuning
nice, nice, I cant wait to break this engine in and have it all tuned and then get a s/c i think that will be nasty fast. time for a 4 link and some suspension first though. I have minimal stuff done to mine subframe connectors, coilovers, 1 inch drop, and some tokico shocks. but im going to needs brakes and suspension first before I get a s/c, why cant I be rich jesus!

im goign to say you are going to be over 400 RWHP for sure esp with a carb, my 347 put down 340RWHP and 380RWTQ on first good tune, we leaned it out a bit and it made 379RWHP and right at 428.9 TQ on 8.5:1 comp EFI, the headers heated up so right now it sits at 340/380 good numbers though

yeah its probably the most exensive engine i have built, as for the best it will be when im kicking over 700 ponies to the wheels, running it through a TKO 600 w/ 3.55s in the back, no it hasnt seen the track yet, was going to take it this weekend and drag at the midamericafordmeet.com big *** shelby and ford meet in tulsa, but ill wait for a while to take it to the track, waiting on hellion to call me back about their turbo kit if i dont go with hellion im ordering a 76mm from HP

so thei higher the compression, the more power you make right?! if im at 10.2 right now could I boost lets say 5-10psi on all forged internals? or would the block crack in half. I have girdle and all that other good stuff arp bolts and such

RE: Dyno run on friday and tuning
you might get 5#s outta it there have been a lot of people boosting high comp engines but most of the time they just spray N2O, high comp engines are not that good for running boost, thats why i built mine beefy and at 8.5:1,
if you are on a stock block i wouldnt boost it if you have that high of comp just b/c they are only good for round 450-500RWHP, your block will crack in half, the girdle all it does it keep things in a nice pile instead of sending parts all over the road, arp bolts arent going to hold it together, if i were you i would just spray a 100-150shot to it and be happy!
