well this new guy at work has a 87-93 style fox. he said it was v8 but the car has no gt badges, no 5.0 badges, it has one exhaust pipe, and the rear bumper has "mustang" in it instead of "mustang gt". but yet when he showed me the engine it was obviously a v8. it just looked way smaller than my 5.0 but it didtn look like a 4.6.
the guy recently bought the car and didnt know much of anything about mustangs. so im guessing the last owner just dropped some v8 in when his old engine blew. or is there some other option im not aware of?

thats what i thought it was at first.
but then i noticed it had 4 cylinders on each side because of the exhaust manifolds and spark plugs.
i had to scratch my head for a while.

what your saying doesnt make sense...single exhaust, smaller than a 5.0 but resembled it? had to be a v6 and you just saw it wrong in regards to the exhaust manifolds.

i didnt see it wrong
there were deff 4 plugs on each side and 4 diff tubes on the manifold.
it must be just a totally different engine cause it looked smaller than mine.
and yes it had a single exhaust...i even stuck my head under it to make sure the tip just didnt break off.
ill ask the guy if i can take a picture tomorrow.
and i can prove it was a v8!

 

Do they make a fuel injection setup for 255ci? lol

 

wait...my bad. didnt pay attention that it was a fox.[8D] its a four banger with two sparkplugs per cylinder.
