Hello guys,
My car was running perfect but suddenly when I was on the hwy I step the gas all the way to the floor and my car didn't go ! I have to let the pedal go a bit and them started going. I did replace the splugs wires and the problem still, sunday I put a fuel injectors cleaner and booster and got a little better but still the same when I step the gas to the floor doesn't go anywhere.
Before I spend more money changing things that will not help I would like to know what do you think it is ? I think could be a fuel pump that is going bad ? How do I test the fuel pump without bringing the tank down ? Is it possible ? Thanks for your help !

First off, I'd replace your fuel filter. If your still having issues, there is a schrader valve under the hood on the fuel line on the front right part of the engine by your #1 spark plug. connect a fuel pressure gauge to it and collect the reading. I'm not sure what the reading is supposed to be, but id imagine it shud be atleast 35 lbs. That's atleast a starting point for ya.

 

have you recently changed your air filter to a K&N. Sometimes too much oil will clog the mass air sensor. Try cleaning it with a STP intake/ mas air cleaner.

 

I did change the filter las may when i bought her, and she came with K&N air filter, I just need to wash it and Oil it again. I am going to try to do the fuel gauge and I will let you know. thanks,
