but the slicks for handling wont be any better off than the drag radials there are just a slick with two lines in the center

i saw a video where a guy was driving back from a dyno shop when he got caught in some rain with slicks, he put it into the wall, not b/c of anything stupid just lost traction. So always check the weather.

ya it was gunna be a daily driver but....i picked a 1981 chevette 1.6L for a daily driver ( little hatchback) my friend calls it the "corvette" because he has a little hatch back ford festiva he calls the "ferrari" lmao its great

so ya it'll be a strip car / weekend warrior

I'm sure his was a strip/weekend car also, just got caught in some rain. I would change the tires at the track, never know when a small shower might happen (depending on where you live). It would just be a horrible, stupidway to lose your car

not saying you would but what if someone pulls out in front of you? you hit a small water puddle? you wash your car and you get a little bit of water on those slicks? i can handle the suspension i would NOT do slicks on the street drag radials but not slicks

^its kinda hard tho because
i found the perfect size tire that wont stick out with my 4.5" backspacing but its a slick not D.O.T .....................everything d.o.t is either way too wide or way too skinny.
