nailed it right on the head... i went with the escort X50, cheaper than the V1, works just as well, you just don't have the arrows to point out where the radars are.

that $80 cobra will get u a ticket. i got the $100 one lol its not that great at all. the BEL RX65 is like the best radar you can get besides the valentine. i did alot of research and i found that the val. gives quite a few false alerts. either one would be a good choice. if you want laser protection get the Blinder m25.

i got a $90 cobra

saved me a couple times but the cops around here dont even use radar so u have to be on the lookout.

im done speeding, almost lost my license last week. talked my way out of a $600 ticket and 30 day driving school to get it back even tho the cop was yelling 2 inches from my face. i thought i was gettin ripped out of the car and gettin arrested.

Just as a heads up to everyone... Having a radar detector is almost a surefire way to get a ticket where you otherwise would ahve goten a warning. At least around here that's how it works. And it's similar with many people I've talked to around the country.

If you get pulled voer for 15 or 20 or so you may actually get a warning. But once the cop sees you got a radar detector you're using, then all of a sudden you're getting tickets for 10 over where you would have certainly got a warning. I know this for a fact.

In other words, if you do get one, hide tht bitch as soon as you think you're getting pulled over. And don't get caught hiding it, lol. And try to keep the suction-cup marks off the window when you do hide it.[8D]

lmao, ive gotten 2 speeding tickets with my radar detector, once for 75 in 35, it started to go off but only a few bars cause the cop was way down a side street, the 2nd time it went ape **** with bars but i was lazy n chose to only slightly brake and got a 53 in a 35, that was 4 days ago, but it has warned me plenty of times about cops and saved my ***, 1 time i remember i wasnt paying attention and would have blew a stop sign and it went off so i stopped and looked around n there he was sitting down the block, about 50 feet away from the station lol
