u cant really go 150mph and expect the radar to keep you out of trouble. it only takes a few seconds and they have ur speed. cops can also pace you from behind and use choppers from the sky. cops can have the rardar set to "pop" and it gets passed low end radars.

With modern radar, they can get past absolutely every radar detector out there. Sure, the lazy ones leave the antenna on and emitting a signal that can be picked up for miles. But the ones that aren't lazy only turn it on when needed. In other words, it only comes on to get the speed of a vehicle then it shuts off. In literally less than 1/2 of a second it can turn on, get the vehicle speed, lock it in, and turn itself back off. We're talking less than 0.5 seconds here. I don't care how good the detector is... even if it DOES go off, there's no way you'll react fast enough to slow down or anything because of how fast it is.

But like I said... you can catch a stray signal where someone else is being targetted and you can catc signa's from the lazy cops that just lave it running all the time.

Just to add a little food for thought.... how do you know that when they are running radar they are out looking to write tickets for speeders and how do you know they don't want to be seen? Every single person says that when the radar detector goes off, they slow down and look for a cop. Just by doing that alone, you are doing what they want. You are complying with the speed limit laws. Often it's easier just to show a police presence to get people to slow down. And it works.

Hey, as long as it's in t next town over.

Oh and don't worry. I'd give you a ticket even if you were driving the speed limit I'm sure I'd find some reason, lol.
