Holley or Edelbrock carb?
I'm building a 302, B303 cam, Performer intake, shorties. What do you guys like better, Holley or Edelbrock? I'veowned several Holley's over the years, they do gofast, but it seems like they require alot of maintenance and constant adjustments. I've never been around a car with an Edelbrock carb, but I don't like the fact that the fuel inlet in on the passenger rear and the PVC is in the front. I'm not going to the track with this car, I want to go fast ocassionally but be able to drive around town comfortably. And advice appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

I would go with an Edelbrock.. I used to run that and a Carter AFB on my camaro.. And i never had any problems..I had a Holley and dont really care for them because they are usually vacuum secondaries.. But im sure they make them mechanical as well.. I just like the fact that the Edelbrock, when you hammered itthe four barrels kicked in and you were gone..Just my input.. Hope that helps a little
I would look at what all the hi-po carb guys use to build their custom carbs, the Holley body! Edelbrock is a copy of the old Rochester unit, junk in my opinion, but everyoneto his own taste!
holley all the way. i dont knwo whats with everyone and having to tune them all the time i had mine tuned once and never had to touch it again. they make more power by far and they just look a lot better than the edles
