Hey man dont let the negative responses break your spirit or make you afraid of asking any question you want. I am 36 and still have a lot to learn. If someone makes out like they know everything, there not even close. I think it is great you are curious about mustangs. Learn all you can, then when you start driving you should be pretty knowledgeable.
Good luck

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't know any of this stuff either when i was 14. I didn't have a clue. Now it's 15 years later and I'm pratically stripping my engine down on a weekly basis. I installed my own supercharger, nitrous, and most of my own mods. Hell, I even tune the car myself using a Tweecer RT.

Sure he doesn't know a lot now, but he's trying to learn and I respect that. I wish I had started when i was younger myself.

+1. I can strip teh engine down myself, diagnose most problems myself, and even completely reprogram the computer myself. But I still learn new stuff all the time. I don't know everything there is to know. But I know enough to do what I need to do. And what i don't know, I can find out through asking others.

Once you learn the basics, the rest is easy.

I doubt he's a ricer. He already knows too much about cars to be a ricer.
