Default painting the bay tomorrow

i used degreeser on the bay. next i want to fill in the little holes ( no bigger than a dime) with puddy then primer....then paint it.

do i have to sand anywhere in between those steps?

where do i get "semi-gloss black" paint from?

thanks!

sounds like your in for some fun, first off if your gonna take the time to fill all the holes you need to spray it with a paint gun a clear it. You have to grind all the metal to bare metal with a grinder, if your not gonna weld use mar glass which is a fiberglass fill, it will need to be sanded with atleast 80 grit, gonna need 2-3 coats. Then once its pretty flat start with bondo, sanding 80 grit. All these are thin coats, thick will crack down the road. The last coat of bondo, when its all flat and smooth. I would block sand the last coat with 180, then 2-3 coats of primer then block with 320 grit, now its ready to paint, you also need to use a wax and grease remover before primer and paint, make sure you blow it off real good before paint especially in holes where dust gets trapped
