^ that's bull****. I used to have an 2006 Type s with an intake and exhaust. I beat a 2000 gt 5 spd by 2 cars from 30-100. Those honda K20 motors love more air. With just an intake and exhaust, i dynoed at 196 at the wheels. Trust me, those cars are pretty quick for 4 bangers.

 

A guy I went to tech school with had a type S and it only ran 14.7 with full exhaust and cold air.

Honestly I think you should be him easily. If you have 2.73 gears you might have a problem but if you have 3.27's I see you beating him easily.

 

You need to get GEARS! Especially with an automatic. It will wake your car up. Go with 4.10s.

 

Don't worry about the trans it'll hold up remember it's a Ford & most important a Mustang. Line her up & Git ur Done
