Default Just bought my first vert

I just bought my first vert yesterday. Its a '95 GT, forest green with a new tan top. It has a cold air intake, 2 1/2" x-pipe flowmasters, 03 mach 1 wheels, and all new ignition and coil. Like I said its my first one and I was wondering if there is anything I need to do for special care for the top or anything else I need to think about for the car. Soon as I find my camera I'll post some pictures.

Make sure you keep your top clean. And whatever you do, DO NOT use Armorall on it.

Best thing you can do is park in the garage when you are not driving it. Verts are a blast to drive, and chicks dig em

ORIGINAL: 850SN95

but they're heavier than my hard top!
That's nothing that can't be overcome with a few extra ponies under the hood.

Thats a real nice car you have sam, and yes mine is exactly the same, even the chrome tips. The only difference is that I have different wheels. Also I would never let armorall ever touch the top, that stuff ruins interiors, dries and cracks plastics I can't imagine what it would do to the top. And I'm with twotone, verts are awesome. You can't beat the freedom of not having a roof, just the sky when you look up, its worth the few extra pounds, and chicks dig em. Also I found my camera but its dark out so I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Thanx I just went for a cruise with the GF and another friend tonight. We had the top down of course.

When I last hit the dyno, I was at 430rwhp. But I've made a few minor changes since then (new MAF that won't peg the meter and new headers to replace my stock one.) So I expect that I should get a little more power out of it this year. Not bad for an old, heavy, slow convertible
