RE: Complete Tear Down and Rebuild of a Foxbody
I just wanted to say "thanxs" for posting pics and answering questions for myself and other people on the forum. I know it has to take alot of time and patience to put all your progress on here for everyone to see. Are you going to show a teardown and build up on the engine also?

RE: Complete Tear Down and Rebuild of a Foxbody
New photos... let the work begin.
I removed the front clip to inspect the frame, bumper and radiator support.
All looked good exceptthe upper radiator support. The previous owner rear-ended a truck and bent it up pretty good. He tried to straighten it out with a hammer and then welded a flat piece of steel on the top. Totally crappy repair!
So I cut it out and got a replacement part from a junked Mustang.
After some trimming, hammering and a lot of measuring... I got it clamped in place andready to weld in.
After I finished welding it, I re-checked my measurements and smoothed the welds with a grinder then primed it.
Turned out nice... looks like it was never wrecked.
