Default 4 lug to 5 lug conversion

Greetings. I met someone in passing who converted his 91 Mustang front from 4 lug to 5 lug.
He changed out the rotors. I am not sure what he used to convert. Maybe someone here knows
Thanks.

My '93GT has the 5 lug conversion. I found out a couple of months ago that the previous owner had used a '94 and up mustang front end to make the conversion - spindles - rotors, etc.

If he just changed the rotors he used Lincoln Mark 7 rotors and most likely Ranger left axles in the rear.
I used '94 Mustang v6 spindles, calipers and rotors and '86-'92 Ranger axles and drums.

The Ranger driver side axles and 9" drums for the rear and Lincoln rotors is the cheapest way. It will limit your wheel choices though because of the hubs on the front rotors. The SN95 front parts will allow you to run more wheels choices. If you were doing an aftermarket race style wheel like a Weld or Centerline, I'd use the Lincoln rotors. If you were wanting to run most of the "Ford" wheels like Bullits or something, you'll need the SN95 stuff.

Thank you for all of your help. I want to install cobra style rims on my 90 LX.
Does anyone know if I install Mark VII calipers on the stang will the rims fit?

not likely I have the Lincoln conversion and the hub sticks out pretty far. Most cobra wheels I have see have a very shallow center cap. You can use the 94 5 spoke ponys ok

They look better on my Aerostar

and I belive the 94 17" split 3 spoke.

I am using the 96 17" GT's and even with a 5/16" spacer the hubs are too deep to use the center caps I had to get creative with mine.
