thinking about buying a new stang

Default thinking about buying a new stang

the price is 3000 obo and idk what to offer what do u guys think its worth? maybe 1500? it has a aftermarket headunit air induction 4.10 gears 111k miles no a/c on it but i think that wouldnt matter really. but how much should i offer? and when i get it im thinking about a supercharger/turbo maybe and exhaust tell me what you think thanks. heres the pics and i think its in good condition except maybe do some stuff to the interior and a little exterior work.

i think i should offer 1500 maybe he will take it maybe not but if he doesnt i think i just may raise to 2000 cause i dont want to throw it all away to one car cause i wanna hook at least one up with a supercharger and i need money for my ram 1500 im gettin soon from my grandpa.

My neighbor gave 1800 for his 89' 5.0. The body was in terrible shape but the motor was outstanding.

It all depends on how much they go for in your area, and how much you are willing to pay. I don't see you getting it for half of what he asked though.

yea and thats my plan i mean i bet the car was abused like most foxes are so i would like some money left over for a supercharger and a engine rebuild before 150k or less miles

Offer what you feel good about. I would rather have a car with nice body to start with that worrying about the engine and if it has been abused.

i think 2500 because it is in nice shape but like you said he prob did abuse it and i dont know about putting a supercharger on a car if it isnt rebuilt or recently rebuilt because depending on which one you go with a vortech 8-10 psi is like 50% more horse and an abused motor would not deal with that well

yea both of you are right, i think i should rebuild at like 125k miles or so if i get it and put a supercharger on while im at it
