Default Polishing trick flow upper?

I have the track heat upper, and it's the wrinkle black finish I guess. I've seen people with this same upper but polished. Can I just use a paint stripped to take hte black off and then polish it or will this stuff not come off with stripper or what? Either that or I'd paint it to match the car. What do you think?

its powdercoated and that stuff is pretty tuff. if you go to a parts store and pick up some aircraft remover that should help out quite a bit. that stuff is pretty crazy. once the powdercoating is off sand it down with some real fine grit paper and you'll be seing some results

Painting would definitely be less time consuming, but if you're thinking about polishing it this mighthelp?
