Default Cobra Grill Insert

I am thinking of buying one of those Cobra grill inserts for my Naughty Notty. What are the con's if any that goes along with them and how hard are they to install.

If you are brave enough to cut the stock bumper then it is pretty easy...all you have to do is get it painted to match and then it will stick on with double sided tape usually...

I have seen LXs in mags with the Cobra Insert..so you must be able to cut the bumper so it fits....'

I had a body shop do mine because I was too nervous to cut my new front bumper

If that is all it takes then that is no problem. I have to very close friends that happen to be body men. They have taught me all that I know about body work. I don't mind cutting the bumper and making it fit correctly, I can handle that. I do not like the idea of it being held on by two sided tape. That sounds like a worm doing that installation. Ever heard of epoxy? Try it out, I think you may like it. They offer many different kinds at different levels of strength.

I cut my stock grille off my LX with a cutoff wheel and plan on using double sided tape on the sides and screws on the top to hold it in once the car is painted.

It sounds easy enuff. I don't see why I could't handle it. I wished I could see one that had been put on a car to see how the grill inserts are made as compared to factory fitment.

The insert actually fits over the bumper.
