im hopefully pickin up these cobra/svo tails soon $50 for the pair

 

Those look nice but they are not true SVO/Cobras you can see the bubble in the tape on the first picture bottom stripe and the stripes are too close together. I'm guessing all three stripes are full length too around the side. The real deal the stripes are molded into the lens. But $50 isn't bad I paid $45 for mine on ebay and had to repaint the housings and stripe them my self.

 

Aftermarket?

OEM have a gray stripes over the lenses.

 

Here is a pict for reference my nephews early 85 SVO. I parked next to his when I striped mine to make sure it was as accurate as possible. With my shaky hands they still got a little wavy.

 

One more picture I found of the side notice the middle stripe on the lower set. This is where most people who stripe their own screw up.

 

I like gt tails better, but if I was going to build a 4-eye thats the way i would go.

 

Svo has black stripes, cobras have grey. I have svo's and had to repaint the black lines. The real ones also have a small piece missing on the 2nd bottom line on the ends where the small bulb goes

 

i dont even have gt tails.. i have lx ones that came on the car

well they are in a lot better condition than my lx tails, i like em plus no one really has these kind everyone has the lx tails

oh i also picked up a 140mph speedo to replace my 85mph one.. yay but i gotta use a drill to make the miles correct.. it gonna take forever..... its at 45k and i need 92k ughhhh i kno it will bug me other wise
