yes, especially with a uni-body. there are better ways to do it than with this lil subframe connectors. but these do help. when i do my roll bar i'm going to take off these little things and do sub frame connectors the right way. requires alot of cutting n welding in the floor.

so if the floor pan is pushed up a little it will be okay?
ummm....it should not be pushing up on your floor pan. touching maybe but not distorting the actual floor pan.

well when its welded to the back it interferes with the floor pan and is about 1 inch off in the front from connecting
