The throw out bearing on my car is going out i have an 88 GT was just wondering how hard it is to replace and if anyone has any tips. Thanks

 

Gotta pull the tranny, probably a Saturday job if you know what your doing

 

Its not a hard job, but you may as well replace the clutch while you are in that far.

 

I am 18 years old and a week from college is it necessary to replace the clutch now im sorta broke?

 

full saturday if u know what ur doin? ****... im about to throw my trans in one night this week after work... ill have it done in 3 hours tops... easy job... if u know what your doing

if u dont, just use a sat to do it... or pay a shop to...

but yea its not a bad idea to replace the clutch... last thing u want is to do all that work, then next month ur clutch start to slip and u have to do it again... whens the last time the clutch was done?
