Spark plug wires?

Im just wanting 2 know what the best spark plug wire would be 2 use. Im thinking about going with taylor but was wondering if the ford racing wire was any good. I also want 2 know what spark plug i should be running with my msd distributor and i also have the msd 6al box i right now have autolite 26. Just wanting 2 know if i should drop down 2 a autolite 25 or just stay with the 26s thaks alot

But bad wires or really cheap wires will cause problems. The spark can jump wires and cause driveability problems and backfiring (due to the plug firing at the wrong time.) The resistance can be really high and can weaken the spark, etc. So technically good wires can make the car go faster due to the fact that bad wires can hinder performance.

If you have an MSD distributor and an MSD ignition, why not just get MSD wires?

As far as plugs, I used Autolite 25 when I was N/A. Dropped it to 24 when I added a blower and nitrous.

well bosch arent too bad, old wires, yes, i had old wires and at night could see the spark leaking !!!

LoL, been there myself. I actually got one hell of a jolt from one wire. I've never had a set that was bad enough to see though, although I remember one guy on here saying his engine bay was lit up like a fireworkd display.

yeah it looks really weird and cool. they were wires on a 80 motor and possibly almost as old 2 years ago too so maybe 20yr old wires!!! all weird and blue looking like lightening

i actually have msd wirs right now but they have been on my car since i got it about 3 years ago so just thought maybe i might need 2 change them cuz the person that had my car before i got it had the same ones on for at least a year so i dunno. i don't think im getting any problem some of them have a few nicks in the ruber silicone but thats about it
