Default Valve covers

Hey guys I just got these valve covers dirt cheap( my old ones are cracked and leaking oil)but they have a hole in each sidefor what I'm assuming is a breather? I really like these covers but they don't have the neck for filling the engine with oil. What do you guys suggest I do with these to make them work. As most of you know the filler neck is supposed to be on the right side of the valve cover on the passenger side but instead I have a hole on the left side instead. (see pic) I'll need to plug that hole because it will end up being underneath the throttle cables
On the drivers side the hole will be on the left of the valve cover but it will be accessable. I was thinking of putting a breather in there and taking the breather out when I need tofill the engine with oil. Will that affect the way my car runs with that breather in there? Sorry for the long post[&o]Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
By the way I have a 1988 LX 5.0

Yea those arent for EFI.. You can still use them though.. Just make sure you get a breather that has a spot that you can run the breather tube from the throttle body on it and your good.

Kind of like this

And nice set of valve covers too..

Those were probably the baffles. You're supposed to either eliminate the PCV system and install breathers (using a 1.22" inner diameter rubber grommet) or just plug the driver's side with a sealed grommet and put a breather like the one 89MustangGT50 talked about on the passenger side. Then there will be no oily mess.

So basically what you guys are saying is that I'll need a upper to lower manifold spacer and that I can use a breather on the drivers side cover, correct? The only thing I don't understand is wheream I supposed toattach the breather to on the throttle body--there is no place to attach a hose to on there. By the way I ordered these from California Mustang for a 1988 mustang. When I called them and told them they sent me the wrong ones they said they don't have those type with a filler neck on them. Yet when I ordered them on line I was looking at a pic of them with the neck on them. So I think I got "screwed" Thats why I want to use these because I like the way they look andthey don't have the ones Ineed
