Default valve cover size

does it matter if you get tall or short valve covers? can your valve covers be "too tall". im thinkin i need to order new ones. from what ive been hearing stockers dont really fit too well with aftermarket 1.6 and 1.7 RR's

true the stock covers wont fit over big rockers but you still need to get stock height valve covers unless you have a big intake spacer and a cowl hood. Aftermarket stock height valve covers are only slightly taller but have much less casting on the inside which allows you to run big rockers
