.... most ppl arent to worried about 0-60mph tho...
Thanks for all the info guys. I know most people aren't worried about 0-60 but I have some specifics I want out of my car.

I am looking for a very civil car capable of having fun but refined enough for a 400 mile one waytrip. I figure 3.73 maybe 4.10s, 6 speed trans and 400 hp should be nice. I should be able to keep a very stock looking car, surprise the hell out of many and enjoy the ride.

Thanks again

i think ur 0-60 on the vette is off a bit, last i checked, they were in the mid 4's.

since fox's are pretty light i would think 300rwhp with good traction and shifting would be enough to get it to 60 in 5sec.

If anyone has their 1/8th mile track times, here is a 0-60 calculator.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

On my best run so far, it's showing the 0-60 was 2.25 seconds.

Lol, it says mine is 4.4. I guess it takes another 3.8 to go 22mph faster since my 1/8 mph is 82mph. I think that calculator is a little off.

Maybe not. I'm guessing you've run about an 8.3 @ 82mph in the 1/8th. Judging from the 1/4 time in your sig, it's taking you 4.65 seconds to pick up 25mph from 82 to 107. Sooooo, I would think it taking you 3.8 seconds to go from 60mph to 82mph falls almost in line.

Your torque is getting you out of the whole and rolling, your horsepower is reflected in your trap speeds.
